So i’m not gonna lie. I was tickled pink when Aladdin was released. It was such a funny film with most of the humour being attributed to the talent of Robin Williams. (May he rest in Peace…nanoo nanoo!) So of course with it being in my top 10, I was excited to meet the beloved Aladdin characters on my recent trip to Disney. But do you know where to find them? Time to grab that autograph book and find out!

Meet the Aladdin Characters at Disney

Aladdin- Himself

The Street rat turned prince can be found regularly near his magic carpet ride in Adventureland in Magic Kingdom Orlando. He is also readily available in EPCOT in the Morocco area of the World Showcase.

If you are travelling through California, Paris or Tokyo, Aladdin does visits in Adventureland and near his Oasis.

At this time he sadly does not meet his fans in Shanghai, Hong Kong, or on the Cruise Lines.

Aladdin and Jasmine

Jasmine

The beautiful princess can be found usually with Aladdin and other Aladdin characters in the same spots including the Morocco are of the World Showcase at EPCOT, the magic carpet ride in Adventureland and in various parade floats. She can be found at the Akershus restaurant in the Norway area as well on her own with other princesses.

If you are travelling through California, Paris, or Tokyo parks, Jasmine is found frequently with Aladdin in the Arabian Coast, in Adventureland, in the Royal Hall, and in random appearances in dance sequences.

She does not sadly make appearances in Shanghai, Hong Kong, or the Cruise Lines.

The Genie

If you get to meet the Genie, one of the famous Aladdin characters, you are in for a treat. After being trapped for 10,000 years you can bet your bottom dollar that he is keen to meet many new people!

If you are enjoying Walt Disney World in Orlando, sadly the only times he does appearances are at the Halloween and Christmas parties.

He is more prominent in the other parks including Disneyland California, Tokyo and Paris.

At this time he does not meet his fans in Shanghai, Hong Kong or on the Cruise lines.

Magic Carpet

I love the magic carpet! He is such a cool character in the movie! Hey Rug man! Oh I just love that dialogue…anyway I digress. I am sure I am not alone in loving the magic carpet, but sadly his adoring public does not get to meet him. He only appears in theatrical and skating productions.

Sultan

Jasmine’s father is an adorable character who would be such fun to meet. Sadly, he does not do meet and greets at this time. You never know though – this could change in the future.
